Services Provided:

I offer 30, 45, 60 & 75 minute sessions and charge $40, $60, $75 & $90.  I see clients by appointment Tuesday-Saturday with morning, afternoon and early evening hours available.

Custom Therapeutic Massage

My massage therapy sessions are never one-size-fits-all!  Before we begin, we chat about your particular concerns, areas of issue, and goals for your massage.  I practice traditional Swedish massage, which consists of long strokes following each muscle group.  Light pressure massage, deep tissue massage or something in between - whatever you prefer - leave you feeling relaxed, calmer and rejuevenated.

Prenatal Massage

I have the utmost respect for moms-to-be, and I am honored to help them relax physically and mentally during this chapter of their lives.  Moms-to-be lay face-up on a foam wedge with a bolster under their knees for the majority of the session, a position that allows me to work on most muscle groups.  Then they lay on their side, get comfy with a few pillows, and I work on their entire back.

Reiki

Numerous ancient cultures believe that life energy flows through the body affecting our whole being.  Scientific research strongly suggests that energy does in fact flow throughout and beyond our bodies and imbalances in this flow are tied to how we feel physically, mentally and emotionally.  The healing technique of Reiki (pronounced “RAY-key”) addresses your imbalances to encourage your better health on all levels.

Reiki is a hands-on healing practice based on the teachings of Mikao Usui who practiced and taught healing techniques in Japan.  Reiki addresses both chronic and acute conditions, promoting balance among the body’s systems, powerfully and gently.

Scientific research shows Reiki’s results include reduction of pain, improved immune and nervous system function and increased feelings of calm, relaxation and a higher sense of well-being.

During a Reiki session, you lie full clothed on the massage table, with a bolster under your knees and a blanket to keep you comfortable.  I then follow a series of hand positions with little to no pressure and without using oils or lotions.

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle method of detection and correction within your body's soft tissues that encourages your own natural healing abilities and dissipates the negative effects of stress on your central nervous system.

Craniosacral Therapy helps to alleviate migraines and headaches, chronic neck and back pain from overuse and old injuries, emotional difficulties, TMJ disorders and many other ailments.  Craniosacral Therapy sessions are generally 30 to 60 minutes and can be combined with other therapies.

While in your session, you are fully clothed and lying comfortably on the massage table, as I work through the hand position series designed to relax you from the inside out.

Company Policies

One of the more challenging parts of running a service business is deciding how to handle last-minute cancellations, missed appointments and late arrivals. I aim for a thoughtful fairness. The very strict policies are below. I’m usually happy to be flexible about the 24 hour notice when illness or emergencies strike. No doubt, if we’re working together, you will be someone who is respectful of my time, so this won’t be an issue. However, if you repeatedly miss appointments, or tend to cancel on the day of your scheduled appointment, and we cannot work out an effective system to resolve the problem, I will likely request that you find another massage therapist.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored: 24 hour advance notice is appreciated when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you cancel on the day of your appointment you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

No-shows

If you forget or consciously choose to forgo your appointment for whatever reason, that’s considered  a “no-show.”  You will be charged in full for your missed appointment.

Late Arrivals

If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the full amount of the scheduled session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other clients, please plan accordingly and be on time.

Testimonials

Rebecca D., Indianapolis, IN

Jenn gives excellent massages.  The first time I received a massage from her my body felt all wiggly afterwards.  She was especially helpful during my pregnancy with my son.  She significantly reduced my back pain.
