Have a crazy knot in your muscle and need some deep tissue work? Want a quiet hour away from life’s responsibilities? Craving more balance and calm in your life? Just like everyone’s needs are different, every massage/bodywork session is designed just for you.
Custom Therapeutic Relaxation Massage - various degrees of hands-on pressure to relax muscles, ease tension, and improve circulation. Great for anyone wanting to de-stress, get their “shoulders away from their ears,” and undo all the time behind a screen.
Reiki Hands-Near Healing- a gentle practice that is a very relaxing reset for your body and mind. Helpful for stressful seasons of life, to clear the mental cobwebs, and start a whole-body reset.
Craniosacral Therapy- a light-touch therapy to help release tension deep in your tissues. Good for TMJD, lingering issues from accidents, or when your body feels “off” or out of alignment.

Massage Therapy FAQ.

Start by taking a peek at my services and schedule your best bet knowing we’ll sit down before your session to chat. I’ll ask questions to find out if you have specific areas of issue, if you’re primarily looking for relaxation, or a bit of both.

You can undress to your comfort level. Most clients leave their underwear on, but your bra will need to be off so I can get to your shoulders and back. I leave the room while you undress and you will be covered by a sheet and blanket except for the immediate area I’m working on. By the way, the table is heated (if you want) in the colder months , because it’s hard to relax when you’re chilly.

I use unscented massage lotion to give me the glide I need without the greasy feel of an oil.
-
I’m not a chatty Massage Therapist! I take my talking cues from my clients. If you want to talk, that’s cool, but for most of my clients, mums the word so they can enjoy some peace and quiet.

I’ve got hooks and space for you to make yourself at home.
-
I accept Venmo, Zelle, cash, credit and debit cards, and checks (for those of us who still have them LOL).
-
Most often it’s both. I’ll let you know before your session starts how you’ll begin.

No. I stream Spotify through my phone and you’ll usually hear quiet instrumental music mixed with sounds of nature. If you’re not a fan of what’s playing, let me know because I’m happy to pick something else.
-
It shouldn’t. If you are feeling pain, let me know and I’ll adjust the pressure or avoid the area completely. Everyone’s “pressure preference” is different and I depend on your feedback to know if it’s comfortable. Massage is not a “no pain, no gain” kind of therapy.

Please try to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time. One of my favorite parts of our time together is sitting down with you before the session. We’ll chat about your goals for the session.
If you are late, I may need to shorten your session (no fun, right?) in order to stay on schedule. Full payment is expected regardless of session length.

Eek! 24 hours’ notice when canceling an appointment is ideal so I can try to fill the time slot. If you cancel without 24 hours’ notice or don’t show up at all, you’re responsible for the full appointment fee. That said, if you have a family emergency, are sick or there’s bad weather this doesn’t apply.

Water, water, and more water! Drink 6-8 glasses in the 24 hours after your session. Water flushes toxins and hydrates your muscles. Also, avoid heavy lifting as your super-relaxed muscles may strain more easily.
