You have a definition problem
We’ve got a problem.
And it’s really fucking with our heads and hearts.
Big time!
It dictates how we see ourselves.
It dictates how we think about ourselves, feel, act, and show up in our lives.
The problem is, our definitions.
How are you defining a “good mom”?
How are you defining a “helpful friend”?
How are you defining a “caring daughter or DIL”?
How are you defining a “good person”?
How are you defining “nice”?
How are you defining “successful”?
How are you defining “beautiful”?
How are you defining “normal”?
I doubt they’re definitions YOU created…
I bet they’re from commercials, social media, your family of origin, or ANYONE BUT YOU!
You’re giving away your power and autonomy when you allow others to define these words for you!
When you live on autopilot, just accept the definitions as how it is, and then create your life accordingly, you’re not living an authentic life, blech… Been there, done that, zero stars, do not recommend.
You’re living the society’s and culture’s (current) acceptable version of those things.
This is a choice.
Which means it can be tweaked, altered, changed.
What definition isn’t serving you?
Which one is making you feel like shit?
Consider the possibility that it isn’t “correct” and that you get to define it a different way…
That you don’t have to live up to the crazy ass and fucked up definition for one more day!
That you will still be safe, loved, and even cherished as the awesome, cool, weirdo that you are!
The more I create my own definitions and practice living them, the happier, freer, and more energetic I am.
Kitten steps, take your time, get to know yourself again, and start living from your truth.
I believe in you!
You got this, Sunshine and I’ve always got your back!
